Around the World in 80 Days with the Zerotracer
The Oerlikon Solar Racing Team won with its Zerotracer the “Zero Emission Race”, which started in August 2010, after a distance of about 30.000 km through 16 countries. Thereby, the Swiss team has set a new record. For the first time in history, an electric driven vehicle has managed to cover such a long distance within 80 days.
