KISSLING Single Pole Bistable Relays

Series 30

This bi-stable relay features high shock and vibration resistance resulting from careful design and an optimized magnetic circuit. The sealing technology used in these relays meets or exceeds both the IP67 and IP6K9K (Steam pressure cleaning) protection standards. This series of relays is well suited for various applications in severe conditions on commercial vehicles, buses, construction & agricultural vehicles, aircraft, ground support equipment, and lift trucks.

Other important advantages are low heat generation in the contact area based on low contact voltage drop, a compact design, silver alloy contact material and the use of mechanical and high thermal stability insulating compounds.

Both the terminals and housing are protected against corrosion. The series 30 includes power relays in nominal voltages of 12 & 24 V and nominal continuous amperages of from 75 Amps to 1000 Amps.  By equipping the relays with blow-out magnets, contact voltages up to 250 V are possible. The use of blow-out magnets is recommended for contact voltages over 40 V and blow-out magnets are also recommended for inductive load applications to maintain long contact life at all voltages. These relays are available with a wide variety of configuration options including contact configurations (NO; NC; NO/NC) and coil voltages (12 V, 24 V, 36 V, 48 V, 60 V, 72 V and 80 V), Four bracket styles to enable solutions for various installation conditions,  optional suppression devices to eliminate electromagnetic interference at the coil and optional auxiliary contacts.

Detailed information regarding the various types is available on request. Custom relays can be developed in accordance with client specifications.

KISSLING Mono and Bistable Relays with Control Electronics

Series 30 (EC)

The Series 30 (EC) features additional electronic functions for pulse protection of the coil, a low energy switching input for direct connection to an ECU, as well as optional current and voltage sensing on the main contacts. It is particularly well suited for battery management and power distribution applications on commercial vehicles, buses, construction & agricultural vehicles, aircraft, ground support equipment, and lift trucks.

Other important advantages include a status output for direct monitoring of the switching state and optional programmable time delay for both making and breaking contact. The electronic functions directly coupled to the relay not only reduce peripheral circuitry and costs in the vehicle itself but also improve safety levels in critical switching applications. The series 30 (EC) includes power relays in nominal voltages of 12 & 24 V and nominal continuous amperages of from 200 Amps to 300 Amps.
